Fuel — Self-Reflection

Food Attachment Type.

Five short questions on your relationship with food, not to label you, just to help you notice a pattern.

This is a reflective, informational tool, not a clinical assessment, diagnosis, or substitute for professional advice. Everyone's relationship with food shifts over time and by season. If food ever feels genuinely distressing rather than just occasionally tricky, please speak with a GP, dietitian, or the National Alliance for Eating Disorders.

Knowing your general pattern with food is useful, it can tell you what's worth keeping an eye on, what kind of support might actually help, and what to keep stocked in the fridge versus what might be worth having less easy access to. There's no "correct" answer here, and no result on this page is a fixed identity, just a pattern worth noticing.

Question 1 of 5

The point isn't a label. It's self-awareness.

Every pattern above is common, and none of them make you difficult to work with. If anything you notice here feels like it's affecting your health or your work, a performance nutritionist, or, for the emotional side, a psychologist who works with performers, is exactly who this directory is for.
